A little bit about me….

Hi, my name is Julie Winton and I have been teaching since 2005. While I am based in Rusthall, I have pupils from Cranbrook to Borough Green, Paddock Wood, Maidstone to Sevenoaks. I take my pupils all over Kent and Sussex and have always encouraged independent driving and route planning, asking them to find their way to Tenterden perhaps, or plan a route to Chatham. Sometimes we even go through the Dartford Tunnel! This gives the pupils more confidence and an idea of what that first drive after qualification will be like with no-one there to help with directions. Claiming a car insurance discount after completing Pass Plus

I don't only teach 17 year olds. I have older students who came late to driving, some foreign nationals who have an international licence but need brushing up and some who just need a confidence boost with their parking skills! I take new drivers out for motorway lessons and also the Pass Plus course which can make insurance cheaper.

In the unfortunate event of an accident I will teach you Accident Scene Management, what information to take and give, when to call the police and the usefulness of photographs.
